What Do You Think of Low-to-mid-range Graphics Cards?

Personally I find them very capable. I can always get a decent framerate as long as I disable AA.

That's an interesting perspective you're adding there.

In that case, would it be fair to say they would also be overkill if you wanted a bottom of the range card?

Seriously, what is the point of this thread? Even if it wasn't ambiguous, how is this even something to share an opinion about? There are many benchmarks for every video card out there.

Indeed it would. I personally feel that people should only buy a video card in the range that they want, and not below or above their desired range. Thats just my opinion tho.
