What do you think of the Half Life 2 DM players and how would you rate their attitud

Hey, what do you guys think of hl2 dm's online community?

Which? The competitive community or the pub community?

The pub community is fine, although if you're good you'll probably get banned/booted off most servers or just clear it out. The competitive community is going fairly well, the 4v4 is slowly dwindling; however, 2on2 and 1on1 are doing okay. I'll probably have to get back into 1on1s soon because of all the teams TF2 stole. :/

The pubs are pathetic.

If you even show a little sign of dominance, people will either
a) bitch at you.
or
b) slowly begin leaving the server

I've never been kicked from a server for kicking ass.

Clan servers are a lot more fun to play on because usually the players are fairly mature and show a great deal of skill.

Most players are young foul mouth kids with no respect for anyone else but them self.

I do run into a few decent players every now and then that have a brain and common sense and it makes the game much more enjoyable.

yea alt of ppl are asses but im 15 yet im quite respectful because thats how i am, i dunno... i guess its my "nature" i suppose

I've been fortunate to have only played with great people all around; I haven't played in forever, but the servers I used to haunt were always filled with cool people. Usually the talkative bunch who say, "Wow, nice!" after almost every kill, and not the type to get mad if you're dominating them.

HL2DM probably has one of the best multiplayer communities I've ever seen since old TFC, before 1016.

Well when I play I don't tend to get pissed off because I know if I do I'll lose my game. That's why when I play I tell myself: "Hey, it's alright, just kill him next time he comes across you." And if I am trying to kill a certain player, it's probably for fun. I try and be nice to people when they play so it doesn't turn into an argument fest. I try to enjoy myself so others do to.

I think most players need a better attitude. And those damn kids have to get off their mics...
