what does hl 2 use more processor or ram?

I belive certain games use ram more than others or that some games are more processor dependant. My question is, which is hl 2? My processor just died the other week and for the time being i am stuck with a slow cpu till i can buy another. Thing is i have quite abit of ram (1gb) so i was hoping that it would help out my poor old 1.6ghz thats been pulled out of retirement (only temporarly though).

btw doom 3, full spectrum warrior, ut 2004 and far cry all work fine with this processor. So i take that as a good sign

the min req is 1.2 i believe...and for ram they recommend 512..soi would guess its more ram

yeah, thats what i thought. The minimum required processor is quite slow, *cross fingures game will work good"
