What ever happened to the blue thing in the water? Remeber in one of the video's there was a scene where alyx ask you what took so long and then you turn around and see this blue thing come out of the water and strike a combine? Also,Where is the scene when you are with barney and he asked your."Remeber when we thought BLACK MESA WAS BAD" and then you go running out in the street shooting some combine..How about the TANKER screne that was in the 2001 E3 trailer.Where is all this stuff? Does anyone remeber these from the videos?

Valve took it out for some reason. Do a search. Someone explains why in a previous post.

They didn't feel it was very good for the gameplay experience and that it didn't look right when you were attacked n First Person. They discuss it alot in the Art book and it was announced By Valve sometime in April on the steam forums. They themselves were rather upset, as they spent a great deal of time on it. Once again, more info is in the Art Book (Raising the Bar).

They also cut out a sort of tank called the Synth (you see them in the Citadel), the Stalker (again you see them in the citadel), the OICW (considered redundant), and apparantely the Ichtyosaur. That last one I didn't understand.

From what I also understand, they held onto the AI of the Hydra and it's model, and remarked that maybe the mod community could do soemthing with it.

Look very closely throughout the Citadel level... at the end before you rise to the top you see a great deal of new units. I think I saw 4 or 5 of the ones they decided to take out

you see an icthysaur come up at you through the water when you are trying to teleport from Kliener's lab to Black Mesa East.
