When HL2 unlocks on Steam...

When HL2 unlocks on Steam, am I going to have to restart steam to get the patch, or is it going to just start downloading at 12:00AM PST?

I really don't want to have to try to log in again with how bogged down their servers will be.

Wich would make alot of the what younger ones will be sleeping, the older ones to and the people that want to sleep enough for work and school.

Here it is 9 am when it unlocks and I can start playing.

As with most patches(if not all) on Steam it needs to be restarted in order to get Steam to download it.
