not seen the mini series so i cant comment. although i thought some parts of the movie version were astounding even though the story was a mess. The calling and riding of the worms was one of those amazing scenes...

The movie was great, wish he'd try remake it.

The movie made no freaking sense, to the point that I had to stop watching it. The miniseries was much better, but still I'd want to watch neither because I just don't like Dune.

The worms were seriously the only interesting part.

I dont know why so many people hate the lynch movie ..I liked it when it came out and I still like it ..the miniseries was less grand in scale in comparison to the lynch movie
