Playing through for the first time, I loved it! Then straight after someone asked Alyx if she was Kliener's daughter, but she replies "No, my dad is Odessa Cubbage."

Anyone agree?

I spotted that aswell.

But it seems in this case, everyone is in a hurry to evacuate the city, yet this woman somehow manages to find the time to ask the password.

Looks like they love gordon as he's their hero, but they don't thrust some of the other main characters. And that's why you are needed, so the people will have a leader, and a patriot.

I remember sneaking on a couple of rebels talking about dr. Kleiner, someone said something like: "And probably Kleiner's headcrab is eating a grade A head at the moment..." lol

Some people think it is a reference to the Concerned web comic, but Concerned never mentions jugglers.

When does this happen? I just finished an HL2 playthrough(and well on the way through Ep. 1) and I don't remember any exchange like this.

It's in Anticitizen One I think - the part where you see Rebels and Combine shooting eachother up in the apartments buildings overhead, and one rebel gets blown off a walkway by a rocket launcher. On ground level is a door where that bit of dialogue happens iirc.

It usually happens when your in the middle of a firefight, therefore you might not be able to hear it as well.
