hey who do you think would win? Gordon or Master Chief? i like both so im not gonna argue with your views on the matter. this question was just a thought.
 
Neither - they would start to fight and Gordon would knock the Chiefs helmet off revealing Master Chiefs supple pale skin...Gordon drops his crowbar and Cheif his laser sword thing, they charge each other at short distance leaping into one another's arms and passionately embrace one another until both are so fatigued that they collapse on the ground and watch the sun set.

Cause he's Gordon. 'The One Free Man'. 'The Opener of Ways'.

Though Master Chiefs array of weapons would be a serious problem, especially his sniper rifle. And those auto recharging shields. And the life time of combat training MC has had. And....well you get the point.

BUT Gordon has shown his ability to devise clever, effective and efficient solutions to every problem he's encounted. Mostly though, he's a scientist thats beaten impossible odds, that 'limitless potential' should count for something.

Or maybe im just biased.
 
Obviously the genetically engineered super soldier that's been trained to kill.
 
well, gordon and chief have both thier ups and downs... gordon has the will to survive more then chief and chiefs military experience could probably kill you in 56 different ways
 
You cant compare.Half life is a compleks and magnificent work of art,and has a great story that fits into place as it goes along from the perspective of Gordons eyes from which the game is played.Halo sucks S and has a stuped story and VERY unrealistic characters which are dull and empty like the story of the game.
And Gordon is so totaly hardcore killing machine,i mean he cleared an army of soldiers and alins in black messa,and another army in HL2 and again so many machinery and soldiers in the episodes,oh yes,and saved the world.In halo,even if the Earth is destroyed,,theres like a hundred other planets,i mean c'mon people
 
Gordon. The gravity gun means the Master Chief will soon meet numerous heavy projectiles approaching at high speeds.

Gordon has the better equipment.
Crowbar > Plasma sword
Combine RPG > Marine RPG
Gravity gun > *
 
i really have to comment... how does a crowbar beat energy sword? but yea master chief has no grav gun. the rpg on hl2 might not be as good, never mind that... you can control the flight course on hl2... gordon saved humankind's only planet while chief saved only earth and not the other planets the humans have...

gordon has so much more responcibility and wieght on his shoulders.
 
Well Master Chief can only carry two weapons (at least in Halo 1, I haven't played 2 or 3) so all Gordon has to do is survive until he runs out of ammo.

And yea the Gravity Gun is a major advantage but only some of the time. Basically on a HL2 level Gordon wins because there is usually plenty of GGun ammo, on a Halo level Master Chief because Halo levels are barren.
 
Gordon would apply physics, and drop a large concrete block on to a see-saw that he was standing on. Thus launching him forwards and breaking his neck. Master chief would then laugh so hard that his overrated ass exploded into a burning inferno.
 
Hey, Gordon can carry 12 weapons at once, Maste Chief carries like what... 2?
 
Having many isn't as important as being good with whatever weapon you're currently using. Not saying that having options aren't important.
I place my bet firmly on Gordon's wits beating the Spartan's brainless order following mentality.

Gordon is a scientist. Master Chief is a something. (Halo isn't that great.) Gordon has the brain over the brawn, and some pretty kick ass weapons.
 
Well, we know if it's a battle in Nova Prospect Master Chief will be assraped by antlions.


This is why we need a Master Chief Vs. Gordon Freeman Multiplayer Mod
 
Master chief, cause he has a helmet, hence Freeman = Deadman when given the headshot.

I do agree Half Life has a very rich plot to me Halo is Generic and Bland. Floods are spoofs of Headcrabs and Zpmbies if you think about it.

its not ignorant because i was asking everyones opinion on the victor of a 1v1 fight between gordon and master chief and not thier opinion on the question itself, and if you want to start some retarded thread about it, go ahead because that would be stupid, unlike this question. but i must congratulate you on the pic, you photoshop that yourself?

Spectre, you just don't like me... and yes Gordon has broken his leg countless times and still seems to be able to sprint and fight combine at the same time... and he gets so much morphine in his system that he probably doesn't feel anything but the need to break it again and again to get his next fix. Here's an idea!!! lets play through HL2 and tally up all the times we here "Major Fracture Detected, Automatic Morphine Administer"
