Why don't they bring out new maps?

DODS and likewise with CSS have just remakes of the orgionals from the non-source versions.

Will they make and release new maps? I'm getting sick of just playing the game on a better engine.

I doubt they will given the amount of work that would have to go into it. Saying that, theres a large fan base of mappers that create new maps. Look for a custom map server and see what you can find.

There are original maps for CSS and DoDS, they just make remakes more often. The old maps are still well designed and fun to play. Once they remake all the good maps, I guess they will have to make new ones then. In the meantime, there's still port, compound, argentan...

Are you blonde or something? They just release Kalt last month, you aren't going to get a map every month, or anything like CS due to all DoD maps done INHOUSE not any by TRS.

They said when they first released DoD:S they were working on 3 other maps, there is still one to be released, maybe we'll hear about it sometime soon...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Argentan was not in the original DOD.
