Why is barney in a combine unifrom?

In the barricade bink video, Barney is wearing a combine soldiers uniform, minus the helmet.

This may give indication that in a mission prior to this one he may have gone on an undercover mission or something.

OR! MAYBE ALL THE COMBINE ARE THE REMAINING BARNEYS FROM BLACK MESA!

Yes tru this thread is inthe rumours section. PC Gamer UK also noticed that even barneys normal outfit is alot like the combines. If you look at it his breast plate is the same minus the white square found on the combine. The radio and belt area is the same. In fact if u stick a helmet on him he could be a combine!

he's either undercover or a double agent....
