Why isn't www.half-life2.com updated

I remember Gabe said that they would shoot fireworks in the air. Also over at steampowered they said that the announcment could not be missed. Ok, It's here, but not on the official hl2 site, nor steampowered news.... Why is this?

Reload steam and you'll get a big HL2 is gold announcement.

hl2.com is a promotional site, not a news site.

Still, yah, I wonder why its not in the steampowered news.
