WHY thread closed, who?

Threads closed?!! who says so?! If there are people interested the thread should remain open. Who decides, and what criteria does that person use? I don't know. I am a member and I want to know. Nothing should ever be closed. People will always be doing retrospective searches, and may have new information. Closing is simply stupid, and, apologies for the word, a little fascist in approach. Don't you think?

Open all threads. I have information for one of them which will prove useful to some members. And that must, surely, be the point of this website!!! Has anyone out there got a brain? It was given you at birth to help you along. Bloodywell use it. Think!
