Why Was It So Small?

I remember HL 1 was a true Epic. Although this game was the most amazing thing i ever played but it was way easier and small. Any word on Aftermath how long is it going to be?

Half-life 2 was a pretty good length for computer games these days. Half-life was a long one, which is why HL2 seems so short.

I'd have HL2 being as 'short' as it is now, rather than having to go through the Rail-something and Black Mesa levels again, or even Xen.
Games nowadays tend to get a bit shorter maybe, but Aftermath is only an expansion. Same way O.F. was very short compared to HL1

OK what about the AI, Dont you think it was much easier in HL2? i remember getting my ass kicked by lady assasins.
