Wierd lighting

Ok, i got some really wierd problems with my lighting, it tends to get very "pixilated" and those are fluffy and big squares around the edges of the light.
how do i fix this!?
plz help me
 
Can you be more specific? What kind of light are we talking here? Also are you using a compiler front-end or just compiling thru hammer?
 
i compile thru hammer, is there any custom made compilers`?
what i mean is that when i place, for example, a dynamic light, when it reaches walls in a stretched angle (as if a hanglight would point down, and some of the rays hits the wall)
they get pixiliated, blocky, look unatural, since they arent smooth.
