wii: pokemon battle revolution video.

I've never played a pokemon game before
Looks kinda kewl

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Is that a giant floating whale pokemon? That is simultaneously the stupidest and coolest pokemon ever.

I am SO getting this game.

And the gameplay looks pretty good, too.

I still have pokemon stadium for N64 was really fun, this new game looks awesome.

So is this just a standalone version of the battle element of Pokemon on steriods? Because that would just be Pokemon minus all the things I liked about it when I was a kid. The fighting was turn-based crap, the rest was fun. Does this use the new controller at all?

Wow. Ill probably get this just because of how good it looks.

I GOT SHOE!!

Hehe, I actually giggled when I saw this thread. Pokemon is a neat concept as a game, and it was pretty fun on Gameboy (for a while). Been waiting for them to do another version in the same vein since, don't really care for this glorified fighting game stuff. The RPG elements - actually roaming about, collecting pokemon, raising them and finding other trainers to challenge are what made it what it was, and a game that expanded on this and made it even more free-roaming would be great. Too bad this looks like it's gonna follow the former... but for what it is, it looks nice. Graphically, the attacks look sweet, and the destructable environment was a nice touch. Didn't see it using the controller at all though... hope it's not just some "jiggle your wii stick to charge the attack!" crap.

I still play Pokemon Gold. Hehe :p

I think I'll try this one. Even if it means being a "little kid". Pokemon's a fun concept, one that no one else has got right so far.

Heh, i remember Pokemon stadium. That was fun with a friend :D
I think i was one of the few that actually like Pokemon Snap too :D

Nice to see the Pokemon actually making contact in this one. Seeing Groundon beat the crap out of Deoxys with his Hyper Beam in that trailer made me cream my pants. Oh yes. I know all the names.

I finished that in a day...but I kept replaying it. Such a unique and utterly strange game...

I ruled Pokemon snap. Miu at the end I just totally beat hands down, and got all the secret stuff on every level where there was one.

And Pokemon stadium was only really good with the inclusion of the actual cartridge -> TV setup, so I could play fullscreen.

EDIT: Probably going to get this game if it has some unique stuff that Pokemon Stadium didn't bring to the table. I'd like to see some actual roaming about and finding pokemon. That would be great.

Wow, that looked pretty nice.

I stopped following Pokemon after Gold & Silver though.

Doesn't look like it at all.

Bear in mind that ALL we have seen is a video. Besides, I think this is the first game that uses the DS as a controller.

Wow... we have other Pokemon Snap fans!
I played it so much too... was strangely addictive >_<
I sold it though :( ...

I know. I love that game. I tried to download it for the computer on ROM and use a controller. Lets just say it did not work at ALL. I need another N64 with Pokemon Snap.

OMG Pokemon SNAP was THE SHIT! I wish I could find it lying around;( . It was such a frikkin fun challenge.. rewarding too. It always felt great when you found out secrets and bustin' a snap on those rare pokemon you find.
