Pretty cool, the people at Wiili (http://www.wiili.org/) have actually found a way to get the Wiimote working on the PC and of course get Half Life 2 playing on it.

The nunchuk isn't figured out quite yet. HOWEVER we're working as I'm typing this on geting the IR working. We can read the IR data but it uses a weird grid system and we're trying to figure out a way to interpret that correctly right now

Control looks pretty bad at this point but the important thing is it's already interacting and sensing motion on the PC. When they get the IR an nunchuck going I will be so happy.

I'd replace my M&K setup for the Wiimote for lots of games out there to check it out.

I beat you by 3 minutes in the videothread :P

It's a nice feat but the actual result is not impressive.

Awesome stuff. They've got that to work pretty quickly, if they get the whole lot to work then it'd be awesome! Already got a Bluetooth adapter so i'd be good to go!

The result can only get better...that's awesome.

Now that's awesome. Using the tiltometer to look left and right is also a pretty good idea.

I'll stick with a mouse and keyboard for a FAR greater level of precision.

wow that is awesome, but it gotta be booring after a few minutes. Still awesome tho!

Interesting video, even if I nearly pressed the corner X when he said the word 'noobs' only a few seconds in. Nasty.

Well this is just the beginning of the Wiimote working with the PC. Once full use is figured out it'll be great.

Well, obviously. But if they could get this working to a level of accuracy taht you get on a TV, I'd be interested in using it as an alternate when I get RSI or something.

SWEET!!!!!!

F*cking sweet in fact!!

This could be incredible!! Especially if some developers really started using it. I think this is awesome. I'm definently going to look into creating some crazy C# programs just for the wiimote.
