Will Half-Life 2 be like The Matrix: Reloaded?

Ever since I first heard about Half-Life 2, the Source engine and that they already were planning a Half-Life 3 I have been a bit afraid that Valve has done a "The Matrix 2".
The first game was a masterpiece without any doubt and now more than five years later they are releasing two sequels within a short period of time. The review from Gamespot raised my concerns.
Do you think that Half-Life 2 will be like The Matrix: Reloaded, leaving loads of unanswered questions and ending with a "To be continued..."?

The answer is NO because such bad things do not exist.

Half Life 2 has already been said by many who played to answer many questions, but present even more NEW questions than the ones answered from before.

I wouldn't mind... Reloaded and Revolutions were both pretty damned good action movies. I wasn't satisfied with the ending of Revolutions though. Wasn't conlcusive at all.

Well first thing, I dont need people responding to this saying, "You suck, because u ruined the game for urself" but after flipping through the strat. guide I found the story to be a little on the lacking side. The game seems to get really strong but end too quickly. Granted I am not actually playing this masterpiece, but rather reading someone's words on it.

I do not mind ruining endings of movies or games for myself, but I love spoilers, it is always better when u see the movie on the screen, or read about it. Just giving my two cents......will this game rock: OHH HELL YEAH!!! will it be better than Half Life: NOPE! It will be right on it's ass though. Gotta remember it is a sequel.

Just to be clear. I didn't mean "as good as" or "as bad as". I meant that Reloaded + Revolutions makes The Matrix 2 and now with Steam and Source I find it likely that Valve could do something similar.
