I've seen a few of these "why was xxx banned?", "what did xxx do to get banned?" etc.

what you might fail to realise is that there's a good chance that these threads encourage people to either start spamming or return and keep spamming. since they're still getting attention even after they've got banned...

now I haven't been banned so I'm not entirely sure how it works. if you aren't allowed to acces the message boards at all or if you're just restricted from posting. in any case people can still acces the MB from another computer/ip...and it is my belief that this threads encourage such people to return and continue spamming/trolling.... "wow somebody other than the admins DID notice me ****ing around!" and "wow somebody seemed to like my inane humor...why stop?"(<--- sadly some of the "why was x banned?"-threads sort of gives this message)

So far all people I've seen banned has rightfully been so. and so far I think that Munro an co. has been quite patient with some people(although it simply could be that they haven't noticed the culprit, though I doubt it) and been kind enough to give second chances, untill it has been quite clear that these persons was out of line and didn't respect forum-rules.(or other people)

so could you please stop posting these thrads? and if you have to know out of curiosity(sp?) or if you believe*gasp* that somebody has been wrongfully banned, take it up with Munro or the other mods privately. thank you!

Yea, I really hate the, "why was xxx banned?" threads too.

But by posting, "would you please stop encouraging Spammers/trolls/lamers etc.?" ... I think that also encourages spammers, trolls and what ever.

it's interesting.... I go away for a week, and post counts are removed..... oddly enuff I don't care ..... good job munro :)
