Hmm... Now, first thing first, I hate the WoW online game. It's amazingly boring, but they actually succeeded in making the TCG much, much better. But then, how couldn't it be?
So, At my local gamestore Gameology, they had a new tournament where you put in $20, you get a starter deck, you write everything down and then they take them all and randomly distribute them. [By sheer chance I got my own.] The first prize was a Spectral Tiger, apparently worth like $700. Now, it was my first time, and since there were like 64 people of varying skill level, of course I didn't win. I had to leave early, in fact. It would have gone on till 10pm, and I couldn't stay that long. But I did get to keep my cards, which was neat. It's actually quite a fun game, and I like it better than Magic since it's a lot less overwhelming since it's fairly new, and there aren't fifty jillion sets to remember. My Hero in my deck is a Tauren Druid... which is really just tank/heal, it was quite nice. I won 1 out of the three games I played... Does anyone else play?

The only thing I know about this is that Gabe did some art for Lt. Commander DudeFella.

Didn't he do Leeroy Jenkins as well?

I never understood buying over-priced cards, especially cards based on an MMO. Seems like it would be more fun to just play the game.

Is it just me, or is phantomdesign's avatar very jerky?

Never played the WoW TCG, too expensive. Still have a bunch of Magic cards somewhere though.

FYI you can play WoW on that card game program I had a link for in the past... if you could find the image scans and spoilers.

On a related note, I know a 17 year old who watches pokeman and collects the cards.

And he's not japanese. D:

Those are from the first set? ARE THEY REAL?
/buys whole set
Actually, I'd much rather collect the cards than play the actual game. If I were to buy 3 packs of cards a month, there's the price of actually playing the game.

I actually play the card game with friends. We like to go up against the raid decks, and we'll do one every week. Onyxia, Moten Core, and Magtheridon's Lair... We each take turns being the raid boss every week.

My deck is a Dwarf Rogue- Rotun Daggerhand.... rogues are overpowered...

edit: I'm thinking of switching him for the Blood Elf Rogue- Daspien Bladedancer- because Daspien's flip ability is much better...
