Has anybody done the quest in Cyrodill where you help a woman find her husband but he dissapeared into his painting? I find the trolls in there to be impossible, but then again im only level 5.

The painter gave you some turpentine for a reason Apply it to your weapon and then hit the trolls.

I ran out of them pretty quick, I killed 2 of them with the 6 bottles (3 hits each). Now im on top of a rock with about 3 down below and no turpentine left lol.

Just arrow/magic the shit out of them. It will take a fair few arrows, and you wont be able to claim that many back. If you've only killed 2 then I think there's 2-3 left. Fire as quickly as possible aiming at only 1 troll because they regenerate like arseholes. I longbowed one to death without turpentine so I know that it's possible, but only if you have a ton of ammo.

Sneaking would be good if you can manage it, but those trolls seemed to have awesome eyesight, plus they know where you are now and they run about as fast as a horse.

edit - if all else fails just RUN. Sheath your weapon, run and jump over tham and keep going until you find the body in the south west corner of the map. Once you get whatyou came for, I think there are some rocks east of that spot which you can jump to to getaway, and to bring you back to the start.

Thats an awesome quest. I could beat them with no turpentine but took ages, then when I went back to the guy he was stuck in a rock and couldn't move. Did it again and killed them with 2 arrows using turpentine.
