I have had many problems with steam, mostly to do with its slowness and it messin with my computer, but now i'm mad because it won't let me play cstrike:flame:

every time i try to play my computer freezes, but just a few days ago it worked. also, the movies won't play, and all of the other games won't play, my computer just freezes. i knwo nothin about computers, so what the hell should i do.;(

You should... learn about computers. No seriously, Steam has all sorts of errors and freezes. In the months following January, the open beta was really messy but now it has become much more stable. My suggestion (simple as it may sound) to you is that you uninstall completely Steam, check for leftover reg entries with software like winxp manager or tweak xp, then reinstall and download the 400 mb once more.
