Xen Attacks is a bonus mission to the Decay mode on the Half-Life Playstation 2 version. The story is simple, you control two Alien Vortiguants named X-8973 and R-4913 which is sent out by Nihilanth to recover a crystal. That's all basically, it's a short but pretty fun mission.
There is one cheat code in the PS2 version that hasn’t been found yet until now (AFAIK). Hoaxer, the creator behind the porting of Decay on the PC, looked through the interface scripts on the PS2 version and found a cheat there which haven't been noticed and hasn’t been posted on any website like GameFAQs or Cheatplanet. What it does is basically unlocking all of the Decay missions including the Xen Attacks bonus mission.
For those lazy people, like me, which don't want to get an A-grade on every Decay mission can now unlock it with ease.
To unlock it, you need to have two Dual Shock 2 controllers plugged into your Playstation 2.
After you've done this, do the following; go into the cheat menu were you can input various cheat codes, now type this into the field:
p2_R3, p1_L3, p1_up, p1_up, p2_down, p2_down, p1_left, p1_right, p2_left, p2_right, p1_X, p1_O, START
(p1 means player 1 controller 1, p2 means player 2 controller 2, you must enter the code exactly as it describes)
If you entered the code correctly, you should see "Decay Unlocked" appear at the screen, like this:
Go into the Decay menu and all the way to the left, the mission should now be unlocked and ready to be played. Enjoy.
For those who’s not got the PS2 version or not even a PS2 itself, don’t be afraid. I took some screens if you always wanted to see how it looked like.
