i mean lets be serious for a second,we have waited so long for hl2 now,and we ALL know for certain,that it will be out this year no matter what,even if it comes out at xmas its only a few months compared to how long we have already waited,so my question to all of you is...


What day would be the best for you to see half life 2?

The subject line is kind of misleading as well. I thought this was going to be another Valve/Vivendi thing.
 
As soon as possible.... no rush thou, its done when its done :D
 
a friday when you get home and got a whole weekend to relaxe with it
 
As soon as posible. As long as its done and aproved by valve. If the only thing keeping it is vug etc then that would piss me off.
 
it can take as long as it wants ... until my damn video card arrives that is...after that I will be playing doom3 which i have had since the release date and haven't played due to the lack of good video. so i am just hoping like hell my card comes b4 HL2 is out
 
The day that would be best for me would've been September 1st cause before that day I saw that day as the release date & it is my B-Day :D

i hope vu dont change anything,cos i remember a certain game called breed,that was really good to start off with,then when it went to the publisher i think,things got changed and it got messed up and turned out to be a steaming pile of crap,i can see vu doing a similer thing,messing with the game to what they think is good,and screwing it up,valve should of just done it themselves....

YES....we HAVE waited over a year for the game already.....and I've been anxious/frusterated EVERY DAY it wasn't on the shelves.....therer's no way I'll wait another month or two for HL2 to come out....NO F*ING WAY!!!! Valve/Vivendi need to hurry the F(@# up....Especially Vivendini, they're reviewing HL2 right now...WTF, why don't they jus let Valve release it and let them deal with the errors, fixes, and patches as needed? Damn fools, letus have the game.

Do you mean Kreed, or Breed?

If you mean Kreed, I'm pretty confident that the game was a steaming pile of crap before the publishers even touched it. That game would have been beyond hope at any stage of the development. It's quite possibly the worst FPS since Daikatana :|

Italiangeek: As per the rules you agreed to when you signed up, can you please edit your signature to be no more than four lines? Yours is way too big. Thanks. Just a tip for you, not meaning to be rude, but not many people generally care about other people's computer specs.
 
I would like it on a friday in the holidays coming up in 3 weeks (school holidays) so i can play it non-stop. Or i would like it this week! On a Friday!

Hey guys... Do you really think it will be out this or the following week?

I think not... In 9 days we have been guessing and hoping for a release for one year but to be honest i think we will have to wait longer than we actually think...
 
It really would not be such a bad thing for me if it came out in December..

That way, its not going to pose any kind of serious risk to my schooling
But damnit, of course I want it now.
 
yeah december will be good, if i get it completed and some good playing online with it at that time then when i go back to Uni, i won't be up all night playing through it again. hopefully.
But, i still want it to be released earlier, earlier the better really.
 
Imagine this: You are coming home after work/school on a friday, carrying a sixpack of beer in the right hand (IF YOU'RE OLD ENOUGH!) and a copy of HL2 in the left hand (Maybe right hand if you're not old enough for beer). A bag of potatochips is waiting on the bench.

You fire up your newly upgraded computer, insert the HL2 disc/dvd/whatever .. Install .. START! Pop the first beer, crack that bag of chips open, WSAD (or whatever keys you use) and MouseHold, GO GO GO!!! :cheers:

Ah .. I'm getting a bit eager .. It's gonna be fun :) Let's hope it's released on a friday .. Well I'm a student, so any day is good for me, but there's nothing quite like a friday.
 
I'd prefer to wait another 6-8 weeks, for two reasons. So it will be darker outside while I play the game, and so I have a little more time to clear up credit card space to buy my new computer. :cheers:
 
Ha, if I were Valve, I would certainly delay iit an extra week so that it could be released on Sept 30th. That way they could say "We told you it'd be out on the 30th..."
