Medic, with full ubercharge. Incredibly satisfying to know you've just knocked out the linchpin of the other team's offense. After that, soldier - they're slow, but random-rocket splash damage has revealed my cloak enough times that I have a serious grudge.

I wouldn't say "often" - I see spies disguise as friendlies maybe 10% of the time, if that. Maybe a longer time to -apply- the disguise?

Oy, Steel confuses me so much. I need a map of the layout or something - it seems like half the points don't have any route connecting them that doesn't go through one of the bases.

YES. I saw that and thought they'd stuck him in an Ep2 map or something... TF2 in a jungle/mountain environment would be badass.

They replaced it with Payload. Same escort gameplay, less risk of griefing from the player chosen as VIP.

Yeah, it's a concept rip from the UT2004 map AS-Convoy. :) It is fun overall though - lots of routes around the place, lots of twisty corridors. Good for spyin'.

Is it possible to kill the sentry that way?

Lots of fun - the center area feels pretty cramped, I'll agree, but it works well. Lots of nice side routes around things for Pyro ambushes and such. Sentries seemed to die pretty easily, but maybe that was just my impression.

I hadn't been getting Backburner crits for about a week now, and in the match I played last night - after the update - I got them all the time, more or less exactly when I was behind people. Dominated pretty heavily, even without the extra health. Fine by me.

It's a lot of fun, particularly as a Spy on defense - there's a ton of alternate routes to get behind people, especially on the first/second points.
