Ok, here's the main German parties SPD - social democrats, pretty liberal (in the European sense, not the new US-one) CDU - christian democratic union (main conservative party, extremely strong in the south) FDP - the ultra-centrist-liberals, capitalistc (again, the classic meaning of liberal)...

Good idea, but someone from each country would have to translate the contents/programs of each party. Maybe I can do that for GER.
