Gears of War was brilliantly fun. I loved the co-op campaign. Uhh.. I can't really think of anything else at the moment.

saints row 2 has offline co-op? ..or online co-op? ..instant must buy if it has offline co-op ..otherwise; meh


tsk you people forgot the lego series of games ..lego batman in particular

unreal 3 has co-op both online and offline, also Marvel Ultimate alliance, halo 3, Earth Defence Force

EDF is cool with co-op. Actually that game is just cool period.

and Gears on solo play is somewhat blah, but when you have a buddy taking cover beside you it becomes ridiculous good fun.

Crackdown is a riot with another friend, it completely changes the game.

Castle Crashers is great when you can get online to work.

and Halo3 is superb, especially if you can cobble together a 4player squad.

How did I forget Crackdown?! That's an absolute must if it's co-op you're after. (Albeit very buggy co-op).

thanks for all the suggestions guys I have a huge list of games now . Does anyone know any games for the 360 that are like Gauntlet legends or Champions of norrath, basicly the dungeon crawling type games with coop.

sorry to repost this but these are the specific coop type of games me and my friend like to play. Any type of dungeon crawling game would be great. We loved champions of norrath 1 and 2 and gauntlet legends. They can be for Xbox 360 or if they are compatable for the 360 they can be Xbox games as well. So any Xbox 360 or Xbox Coop dungeon crawlers you can think of would be greatly appretiated! thanks again.

I concur with Rainbow Six Vegas 2. You'd be crazy not to get that.

Are you serious? That was shit in co-op!

The graphics were simplified to an extreme, the AI disappeared, and the fun vanished completely.

I've fallen in love with co-op gaming again having just played through RE5 (local) with a friend of mine
we're also going to play Saints Row 2 online and possible Army of Two (even though I wasn't that impressed by the demo)
Castle Crashers might be another good one.
is Kane and Lynch any good? cooperatively i mean

RE5, Halo 3 and Crackdown are my fave co-op 360 games. Great fun. Also check out SR2. Gears is better in co-op, but not great - that's all about the multiplayer. Fable2 was a missed opportunity - the co-op is pretty broken, which is a shame as it should have rocked.

yes, I played it through to completion with a friend on local coop. dont listen to the haters, it's definately worth a rental (if you're going to play co-op, single player is rather boring)


castle crashers is fun

playing through Gears of War 2 in co-op. definatrely better with a friend than in single player

I played Kane & Lynch on PC co-op and it was damn good fun, pretty tough too. Not for everyone it seems, but if you can rent it, try it out.
