GLaDOS whines all through the end about going back, so did any of you do it? Does anything special happen?

Also, GLaDOS song at the end includes her saying "When I look up there, it makes me glad I'm not you". Portal storms? time frame clue?

No, nothing happens.

Our current theory is that GLaDOS is on the Borealis, but this may change once we get more information. Yes, it is very likely she is either referring to the Black Mesa incident, or the Combine invasion. It's not clear...

I think thad GLaDOS cant be on Borealis. I think the explosion at end of Portal could cause a disappearance of their research vessel.
The gate at end of portal looks like a port gate for me.

I think the Borealis disappeared before the events at the research facility.

We're pretty sure the Borealis portaled away before Portal takes place, since the scientists were aware of what happened. They must have still been alive.
