9800 pro power connector

Hey,

im having trouble unconnection the power cord from the back of my 9800 pro. My fan died on me and i need to get the cord off so i can send it back and exchange it. The connector is giving me a hard time and no matter what i do i can get them seperated. Is there any special way to remove it??

yeah, make sure you hold the port properly as you're tugging the molex out though, its only held on by that solder, you don't want to rip that off

Anyway, yeah, I find power connectors a bit fiddley from time to time, just keep at it, and be careful, otherwise you may have to do some solderiny ;(

There is no 'special way' however.

Yea those things are a pain in the butt, if you can't even get it started a skrew driver can work well as a wedge to start it off.
