No matter how you look at it, she is still 70 years old. Im going to have to say that was a ridiculous amount of force. Even if that was a guy in his 30's, there really was no need for a knee to the face.

A police sergeant was on Thursday arrested and arraigned in court, accused of attacking and slightly injuring a French lady in Paceville, after newspaper Maltatoday Midweek published stills of the officer kicking the woman.

Lawyers Jason Azzopardi and Kris Busietta, defending the police sergeant, said that Catherine Sophie Pernot Sprangers had attacked him first and also produced a medical certificate claiming that the elderly woman had injured the officer. The defence also produced pictures of the man’s scratch marks.

I think she was a stupid ass for reaching in the cop's pocket and expecting nothing to happen. She seemed to convey this "I can do whatever the hell I want and no one's going to put their hands on me because I'm an elderly woman" kind of attitude.
