Actually, solved the other problem, new one has arisen

I've figured out the other problem, for anyone who wants to know you have to goto options/controls/advanced an then switch on the command console button. But I've got a new problem. Stupidly while messing around with the commands I've somehow managed to disable keyboard use inside the game, not the command console, just walking, jumping, chat etc... So now my query is; Is there any way to switch every setting including the commands and such to the factory settings? By that I mean back to the way it started, because I really can't do anything and its getting me a little annoyed.

Go to your Garry's mod folder. Find and delete the config.cfg there.

If it's Gmod 9, it's in here: Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\gmod9\cfg
If it's Gmod 10, it's here: Steam\SteamApps\[account]\garrysmod\garrysmod\cfg
