Lately I've taken an interest in Airsoft.

But I being poor, I've only my dreams
I've spread my dreams under your feet,

and I got a low quality AEG and did some operating on it (to hell with firearm control laws) with heavier springs. The accuracy went to hell's 7th level, but I got it to fire at a match-quality power. Which coincidentally you can't really get here because anything over 0.2 joules is illegal (for comparison, Tokyo Marui guns are mostly 0.98 joules).

So now I have:

1 Electric M4 Carbine with optical laser dot sight, laser pointer, weapon light, and vertical hangrip

1 Spring Glock 26 pistol (which I didn't need to modify for more power)

I took the dot sight off because it was actually harder to aim due to decreased field of vision.

I find the carbine to be more aesthetically pleasing than useful for field combat. CC is fine though.

So, anyone else have an interest in airsoft, or airsoft weaponry? I remember seeing a thread about airsoft here once.

That carbine looks exactly like what I have.

What did it cost you? I found it at half-price at an internet bankrupting auction, $40 with full option.

It's a DoubleEagle right? Or some 3rd party rip off brand?

I actually don't know. The packaging was extremely compact because the sellers didn't have enough money to ship big ones. So they took it out of the box, disassembled it, and sent it. I should have asked them, though...

But yeah, most likely it ain't some god-awesome tokyo marui-esque gun.

Mine didn't come with a book (lol) and I haven't been able to figure out where to attach the wire from to laser pointer. Where does the little plug go?

The lil' rubber band goes on the vertical grip, and you put the little plug between, and press it when you want to light it up.

I love airsoft, but right now, both my weapons are broken...
I had a 552 Commando and MP5 with a silencer....:(
A friend of mine is gonna fix the MP5, but the Commando is in my attic.

I was into it when I was in 8th grade, but after playing it in the hot sun and hitting people a million times that refuse to admit they were hit, I was basically over it. Lots of money later, too.

Plus it felt like a more realistic form of LARPing, which is way retarded.
