anime alyx request

um, pardon my asking but, whats anime?

is it like a comic or somthing?
 
Japanese Animé. Like, ignoring good proportions to make cartoon-y type characters. I don't much like it, unless its actually well drawn. (which is rare)

Just google image search "anime" and you'll see enough. I'd rather not, though... ;)
 
Just go into Photoshop and use the liquify tool. Enlarge her head 2x, and then make her eyes even bigger. Then proceed to give her other forms of bizarre proportions and you're set.

If you're drawing it, make sure to add lots of useless features to her outfit that would make it impossible to maneuver in real life. (or possibly, just to look even more ridiculous)

And if we were talking about a male, I would say to do the same thing, but make him look like a woman. There's your typical anime.

I remember somebody doing something like this a while back...try the search you might find something.

That looks great cremator! You've captured the bleak, depressing feel that City 17 is projecting onto Alyx. But wait... Isn't Alyx supposed to be optomistic? AHHH, I see, underneath her confidence and bold optimism, Alyx is really hiding a dark, dreary outlook on the situation. Could this be a major spoiler for the third game? Is it possible that Cremator knows too much, or is in fact a Valve employee? Have you noticed that I'm talking shit? All will be revealed... never!

To look at that properly you kinda need to view it in windows picture viewer...

In fact, we should make an anime Half-Life. And animate it in Flash! :P

That's great, I love the colours, the clothes the hair and the shading. In fact there's only one thing that I would criticise... the face looks like a scary art teacher. ...Don't ask me why.

An anime half life would be cool. I'll do the voice of Gordon!
