Is it that you're not really a moderator?
 
Some people have guessed that the Female version is in a later build, or that the citizens move about randomly, although i believe it is more likely to be somthing they decided to change for asphetic reasons, pehaps having one female in the scene thats upset seemed a bit to stereotypical so they shuffled things round a bit, who knows, but its been seen many times.
 
I wonder what other little details like this in the binks that we haven't found yet?
 
So I guess no-one here thought to register the name moderator, before you :P
 
Hey, if you notice the black male has a brown iris in the new updated version (with the girl).

In the lombardi one he had a black iris.

Um, are you serious? That's like randomly pointing out a bottle on one of the tables and saying there's a bottle on a table later on in the game too. It's a completely random piece of miniscule trivia - please tell me that was some sort of piss-take and that people here aren't *that* obsessive. :-S

obsessive hmmm. and whos getting worked up over a rug? :monkee: lol.

its just odd to see the exact same rug in 2 places, they must have similar tastes in rugs lol

From the game point of view:

The combine gave everyone a little something to decorate their homes. Or to decorate the homes FOR THEM. Obviously variety isn't in their mind.

From the devopler point of view:

I'm too lazy to make a different coloured carpet, or I dont feel like making a different carpet for every room with a carpet in it. So i'll just use this one that was used in the beginning of the game, and place it in this building, much later in the game.... They won't notice.

Or we could just say.... The IKEA effect.

You would've returned tons of games because of repeated objects.

What i found weird in tenements was the fact, at the start a woman pokes her head out the door, when the combies kick the door in(the one in the old video), then later at the window...its the bloke. What? How? Why? Watch it, confirm thats the woman in the door frame?
 
That girl is in the next room over sitting on a couch being consoled by another character. Watch the Tenements BINK she says "What are we going to do,I can't take it anymore"
