Here is YOUR chance to once again have those great things back.

CAL league is holding a HL2DM tournament and will be using HL2DM Pro Mod for it. The question is will the extra features of Pro Mod (tau, lj, bh) be used? Or will it just be the stript version, which is very slow and boring.

Please go here: http://forums.caleague.com/index.php?showtopic=77967 and vote for: "Use HL2DM Pro with all of it's features"

I asked in their IRC channel om GameSurge about it:
(CAL-cs|Terri) your clan doesn't have to be in the US to play in the league, but you have to play on US servers in the timezone of the conference you join
(CAL-cs|Terri) teams will not be required to play on your server if your server is outside of the US
Tried playing there, and in a league it would mostly be against people who know how to play properly I guess, so it will be a challenge to say the least :) But we might try and see how we end up.

I would say the same thing, if it wasn't for Australia's crappy internet service. Damn latency issues :frown:

I don't know about you but ADSL2 and Cable are both viable options down here in AUS. Latency to most US servers for me is just above 150. Unlike dial up 150 on cable is quite decent. However, a 19 mili second latency to servers in Adelaide is much better.

Yeah. It's hard. Specially in close fights and when lots of physics moving around.

it would be stupid to introduce tau, bh and lj to this tourney. those elements aren't even all done for hl2dmpro so there would be very little time to practice with them. wait another month or two, then have tournies with those settings.

It's not a tourney, but a league. So it's gonna be on for a very long time AFAIK.

I'd say leave it vanilla for now. Use the spec mode though, that's important.

Yeah. I think that's how HL2CCL will use it at least :)
