Hello, my name is Joest and I guess I am now part of these wonderful forums.

This is not my first forum, I have been part of many forums although The XGen Studios Forums is my main one. I have well over 6,500 posts there so, don't worry, I am not ignorant to how this may go. I will try to post with the best spelling and grammar as possible; I will try show the utmost respect for other people and the rules.

A Little About Me: I am 17 years old; I live in New York City; and I love games. Flash gaming, PC, console, handheld, you name it, I play it and/or love it. I also love Half Life 2. I think it is one of the greatest games ever made.

I found this site through a simple Google search while looking for some strategies for the weapons. This site came up, I looked around and I had to join these forums. So awesome, so active and about Half Life 2, HL2 mods and other Steam games.

So, that is my story. I think I will like it here.

Honestly, Halflife2.net is a wonderful place. But sometimes I think I should use the word 'wonderful' more loosely.

Your name makes me think it is pronounced Joe-est. Like you're the Joey-est Joester of all the Joes. Awesome.

It's Joe-st. Not Jo-est, Joey-est, but Joest.

I was on vacation for a few days, I'll make sure that I'm active now.

And, I don't eat penises. I eat Headcrabs. They takes like chicken.

Your story's just beginning, young adventurer. It's dangerous to go alone; take this:

The Rebellious Cow

Stumbling lost, not aware of the cost,
The Rebellious Cow wanders beyond the realm,
The realm of her farm, beyond the farmer's arm,
She finds a cobblestone path,
Unaware, if spotted, the owner's wrath,
She was a prized specimen, a champion cow,
But none of that mattered to her, not now.

She was curious of life beyond the fence,
Away from the competition, the false glamour,
She did not wish for the largest udder,
The perfect hide, the farmer's immense pride,
No, The Rebellious Cow simply wishes to explore,
However, that was against the farmer's law.

The Cow trots along, humming to herself a bovine's song,
Dreamt of her destination, it would not be long,
She followed the exact path, her distinct memory,
Her sudden bravery, only contemporary.

A sudden thought entered her mind,
What if the farmer's foolishness were declined?
She would be forced to return,
Having to meet with her owner's seething burn,
Perhaps a burger, or the ingredient to some tasty chow,
But no, not this Cow, she decided to continue forth,
It was not long now.

Hoof to path, a new feeling,
The Rebellious Cow had never stepped upon such a medium,
Such an unfortunate thing, because of the farmer, because of him.
The Rebellious Cow lets out a slight moo in joy,
Off to the horizon, like the candy store to a little boy.

Taking in new sights and smells,
The Rebellious Cow, ignoring the sound of her bells,
Her pace matches her humming,
Her hooves acting as drumming!
She lifts her head, to see she's going to be dead,
The farmer standing in her sight, arms folded as if looking for a fight,
She cringes her face, unable to flee; the farmer could beat her at any race.

The farmer approaches, the cow sighs,
But The Rebellious Cow saw something different in his eyes,
He was smiling, ever so sweetly, he steps aside,
Allowing The Rebellious Cow to continue her ride,
She looks upon her master stunned,
She found it "Moo"ving, if you'd forgive the pun,
She passed the farmer, continuing her fun.

The smiling farmer chuckles,
as he watches The Rebellious Cow swinging her tassels,
He then glances up the sign above her,
"Oh brother", he says
"She's so faithful, always returns"
The sign reads, in an ironic twist,
The land belonged the local farm,
Owned by the man, whose name was Chris.
