For current project at work, I require a wireless router, or bridge, in order to connect a laptop with a device. The general specifications are that it must be robust, portable and durable. The main criteria, however, is that it must be battery-powered. This is where I stumble, as even after several hours of searching online, I have yet to find a RJ45 to 802.11 battery-powered bridge (aka a WiFi router). I have come across battery-powered 3g access points which transfers the 3g signal from your phone into 802.11 for your laptop. This is, of course, not helpful.
So, Google having failed me so far, I am curious as to whether any of you know of any battery-powered routers. Searching on this fora didn't get me anywhere either, and I'm quite confuddled as to why I can't obtain any results for it anywhere. Even a link to a website saying "there aren't any, woe is us, lol!" might have been helpful!
