And I might as well join, Im getting really pissed off with the lag and connection errors and the server browser and about 10 other things. Its killing my interest in BF2.

I've just started playing the Demo and love it, going to buy the full game soon. Maybe the Demo isn't updated like the full game, so I can't see these problems.

I just can't sympathise tbh - i've never had any problems with BF2
HL2 was a nightmare to play in comparison. All the things people complain about just haven't affected me ever to date
The one time I couldn't install a patch was my own fault for forgetting that i renamed the .exe. The bad ping I get is the fault of the LAN cafes that I'm forced to use. All in all BF2 has been the best computer game I have ever purchased and with so many mods coming for it (unlike HL2) I can't see my gaming changing. On the other hand less bf2 players and fewer servers because of EAs business practices is bad news as well. I'm a bit torn as to who to side with...

well EA means good by "trying" to fix some issues... but has only created new bugs to the game...
after the 1.3 patch I've been gettin "connection errors" all the time
