Best/Favorite Voice

Just mouse-over your sig. His mouth gets huge and it makes me LOL

Maynard James Keenan from Tool has a pretty awesome voice imo.

Serj from System of a Down has a great voice too.

Also, I'd like to point out that one singer from Wolf Parade (the guy who sings "Dear Sons and Daughters" and "It's a Curse") has a f*cking awesome voice. It may not be musically fantastic, but god damn if it's not sexy as hell.

Meh, this list is kinda scary. I vote for Abbath of Immortal, preferably Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism/Pure Holocaust-era, but his vocals have pretty much always been the same, except newer stuff kinda lost the harshness of his accent while speaking english. Now, I don't feel his vocals are as throat destroying.

Yeah, for serious now, I really like Brandon from Incubus aswell. He suits the band very awesomely and has some pretty kickass lyrics too (assuming he wrote them), atleast on the earlier albums.

Also, Serj from SoaD provided he's not resorting to screaming every 2 and a half seconds. When just normally singing I find he has a really strong and unique voice, he should use it more. Actually same goes for Chester from Linkin Park. Ignoring the subject matter of their lyrics, I really don't mind his voice provide he's actually singing.

On the flipside, I like Chino from the Deftones both singing and screaming. He has a unique enough voice that it actually sounds good either way. IMO, of course :)

He does. Agreed, some of his lyrics are just awesome. I mean, how does he come up with some of his lines? Wow. He also has an amazing vocal variation, capable of reaching almost any 'frequency' as it were.

Just listen to Drive, Here In My Room, Pendulous Threads, Dig, Anna Molly, Pardon Me or even Earth To Bella Part 1. Sheer brilliance.

My favourite is Idiot Box for lyrics, and the way he sings them. Light Grenades is also particularly cool.

I'm not debating that, but when you think of the beatles it's normally paul/john doing the lead singing, george was usually backing/harmony :P
