In a relatively short interview, Blizzard's Bill Roper has taken the time to talk with GameSpy about Valve's recent misfortune and how it has, is, and can affect other developers.

Good developers have always been victim to hacking, even back in the 8-bit days. What we're seeing now is how drastically these types of attacks can adversely affect a company. Most hackers do what they do to make a name for themselves.
