(bug) Stuck in "Follow Freeman"

I've tried to mess with this mission over and over again, but it is hopelessly bugged. When Barney tells me to lob grenades to kill the snipers, there is only one sniper. I kill that sniper but then there is nothing else I can do.

There are more snipers than that when I first start with my squad, but they just disappear once I go into the building that Barney is on the roof of.

Any solutions?

Any saved games that are past that part?
