Bugbait usage

Is there any other usage of the bugbaits except summoning antlions?Because I find a lot of bugbaits in the crates and supplies in the levels in City17 where there are no any antlions.I am confused.

Well, maybe you should get a copy of Half-Life 2. There's no bugbait in the city levels of that.

Uhh... You find "bugbaits" in crates? Sorry, but you never see them anywhere else except for when you first get them, when you kill the Antlion Guard.

You must be mistaking them for something else.

You have an infinite supply. There would be no reason to pick up more anyway.

As for other uses, you can use them to temporarily stop a combine soldier from doing anything by throwing one in his face. He starts swiping around trying to get the gas away. This is a good chance to shoot him, or crowbar him if you want to save ammo.

Well...Thanks.Maybe you are right.I dont find bugbaits but what are those little red things which i find in the crates and wich the Elite Combine soldiers throw out when you kill them?
About the second usage of the pheropods...I didnt know that.So thanks.Maybe the next time when i replay the game i will use it.

You probably mistook them with the "Energy-orbs", the Overwatch Standard Issue Pulse Rifle's alternative firing-mode.

yeah, those are ammo for the secondary fire on the ar2 rifle, the awesome looking one the combine elites carry. I love that thing when I've got everything on HIGH in HL2...just looks cool
