http://www.gog.com/en/page/1year_promo/ gog.com (good old games) is having an Interplay promo, buy one game, get one free!

this deal is ridiculous but the timer is running down, ends in just 2 days!

The Rules:
We're celebrating the one-year anniversary of our Early Access Beta launch with a rerun of our "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" Interplay promo! From now until Tuesday, September 8 at 11:59 p.m. EDT you can buy any game from the Interplay catalogue and get another absolutely free! To take advantage of the promo just select the games you want from the list above. You have to place order on games in pairs ex. two, four... ten games in one order, to get half of them for free. Please remember, the promo works within the order, you will not receive any coupons to redeem free games after your purchase is complete. If you select odd number of games you will only receive the paired games for free. You can't exchange games once you've completed your purchase. We take no responsibility for not completing a pair of games which means that you've selected 1 game but not the free game, we will not issue gifts after purchase - please make sure you've selected carefully and correctly. Please note that this promotion cannot be combined with other promotions currently ongoing on GOG.com and it doesn't work if you're gifting games from the promotion! If you need our assistance or have any questions concerning the promotion, please contact us at [email protected].

I wouldn't buy any Interplay games if i were you. I don't want to support them in any way to let them create V13.

uhhh screw that. (I'm getting tired of people "boycotting" game companies.)

There are some great games there. Might just have to indulge!

giants looks like a fun game, anyone ever give that a whirl before??

yeah giants and earthworm jim 1 and 2 for $5.99 is amazing

I wish I had the money but I don't :(. I'd get Giants and probably Earthworm Jim 1 and 2.

Bought Fallout and Fallout 2 for less than 5 euros. This bargain was just sweet.

Most of the games in the deal are fantastic.

Just bought Sacrifice and Descent 3.

uhhh screw that. (I'm getting tired of people "boycotting" game companies.)
On the contrary, I'm sick of people bowing to the will of publishers. Weak slaves. Addicts. It absolutely disgusts me. I honestly think of people like this as less than human.

On topic, Earthworm Jim 1 & 2 were good games.

yeah, go support the ****ing company who sold Fallout's rights

Good thing I don't give a shit about Fallout. :upstare:

Man, are you serious about this boycott thing? They sell me two of the best games in gaming history for less than 5 euros and I should... boycott?
God bless Interplay for Fallout, Fallout 2 and many other gems.

Black Isle developed Fallout, not Interplay. Get your facts right, and yes, I'm serious. They need money to create V13 (which is Fallout Online). It's going to be like Terminator 4, damn it.

Edit: Mikael was right, you guys are like sheep.

I've never boycotted a software company, personally. But all the power to you if you think there is reason to.

I continue to boycott certain oil companies, electronics hardware manufacturers and music labels. I have done so for about a decade. And it works. You can literally watch them go out of business if enough people feel the same way.

*Freespace 2
*Giants: Citizen Kabuto
*MDK
*Kingpin: Life of Crime
*MDK 2
*F/A-18E Super Hornet
*Freespace + Expansion
*Redneck Rampage Collection
*Shogo: Mobile Armor Division
*Battle Chess Special Edition

I have the above games & they were all well worth the full retail price I paid for them back in the day. The fact that they are now Buy 1 Get 1 Free is simply an excellent deal. If you want some fun, give the above games in red a serious consideration. They may not have the best graphics by today's standards, but if you are a "True" gamer, that will not matter to you.

Top Secret: Remember Redneck Rampage & the chickens? Good times.. Good times..

In case of you guys don't know, Viktor Antonov (HL2's art director, when he was at Xatrix) worked on Redneck Rampage, and Kingpin. They're both good, and enjoyable games (especially Redneck Rampage).

Kingpin is still easily one of the grittiest and balls out games I've ever played.

So what? They make V13. I don't buy it. I don't play it. That's the right way to boycott. In the meantime, let me enjoy my new Fallout :)

Yeah, one big step forward to turning video game community into a shit hole (like it's not now). Go, look what happened to Cameron's Terminator series. Do you really want to support some cash cow?

Perhaps I believe that as well, which is why I'm a moderate when it comes to that issue. If I don't like a game, I won't buy it, simple as that. And as much as I don't want to support huge money-raking conglomerates, I am a poor college student, so it's nice to be able to afford such great games once in a while.

Boycotting is sometimes inconvenient. You have to go out of your way or do without things you want in some cases.

Not sure what you are talking about there, it's not about not buying a game because you don't like it. Who would buy a game they don't like?

Boycotting is not buying something (sometimes it's something that you want) because of the DRM, the high price, the business practices of the company, or something like that.

Regarding freespace you only really need Freespace 2 because of the community effort the Freespace 1 and expansion campaign can easily be integrated with FS2Open.

Edit: http://www.fsoinstaller.com/ Does all the work for you.

I have everything I want from GOG right now until HOMM games magically become $5.

And, in this case and in my point of view, is totally pointless. I should boycott Interplay to support the original spirit of Fallout... not buying Fallout? Kind of silly, don't you think? ;)
