Buying off of steam

Because CE buyers are getting screwed over, i've decided to buy the gold Steam version, yet there's one problem...i really want a CD, i feel funny having all of that stuff on my hard drive, what if my comp screws up, then everything is deleted...
I'm sorry if someone already asked this question...

If you're computer skrews up just make sure you still have you're steam account details. (Username and password) because then you can just re-download everything.

Also, if you dont want to ahve to re download everything you can burn the cache files to a CD for safe keeping.
