The best way to describe Garry's Mod, is like Photoshop for Half Life 2. It's basically a fantastic way to create art (pictures, machines and the like) and it's great fun.

The new version (8, out today) has added online support because Garry is switching to the HL2M code.

You could play it online w/ v7, but it's very laggy.

I don't know. the physics in Photoshop are pretty good.

you could play online since like v5 or something but there were no player models and i'd always have 1000 pings.
