Can Steam handle the traffic?

Looking at the current status, current bandwidth use is DOUBLE what it was two days ago, and no additional files are being downloaded from VALVe.

Unless virtually no substantial bandwidth is required to activate, I predict that the release is going to have to be staggered to some degree. A small STEAM platform update, or release of a 5MB activation file will swamp their network come midnight.
 
I would think there would be some sort of relay where every country would have their own server. This would save the bandwidth.
Thats just my theory.

Yes, we have one public and at leaat one private content server in Australia. Let's just hope they are up to it. :sniper:
