cd key

hey....i jus bought the game for the second time and it didnt come with a cd key....can some 1 please tell me wat i should do.....where is it supposed to show the cd key on the case?

slaze, why did you waste your money? You KNOW you can't have two HL2 keys on your Steam account unless you pay Valve money to close the first HL2 key down. So not only are you paying for the DVD again, you're going to have to pay an extra tenner or so to use it.

He can simply make a new account and use the cdkey on the new one.

I guess your cd-key should be in the same place as last time.

lol thx guys i think the actual shop has sorta ripped me off cuz der isint even a proper manual in there..and i havnt got the dvd type of it so im jus gonna go to the shop and ask y it aint there....cuz it aint no where and i alredy sorted all that steam network stuff so that sorted but now i need the dam cd key witch is startin to annoy me lol o well il av to wait....thx guys anyways

there isnt really a manual its just a piece of thick paper with how to play intructions

2.) The cd-key is on a sticker on the paper sleeve thing that CD 1 is in

my half lfe 2 is a dvd type..i thought it wasnt....but it is and if u meen that the manual thing is a thck sheet do u meen jus like a bit of paper with writing on it sayin the keys of the game??? well im bout to leave to go to the shop i got it from and ask y it wasnt in there.....thx ppl
