For any that are interested, there's a cool single player demo of the game "Chrome" up for download at Fileplanet now. It has great graphics (obviously not better than Half-Life 2's), and decent fps gameplay. Go check it out, and tell me what you think.

Oh, I was waiting for the english version of this game, all they had previously was polish :(

I'll check it out.

downloading now. I played it a few months ago & it looked terrible - voice acting/dialog was stoopid, etc. we'll see how it is now.

Well it has ragdoll physics and nice graphics, so I might enjoy it :D

The ragdoll physics kinda suck. More exaggerated than Unreal Tournament 2003, I'm afraid to say. Whenever you shoot someone with the sniper rifle, they go flying back, limbs flailing all over the place.

I'm not a big fan, for the reasons I elaborate on in the other thread on this.

Don't cancel. Heck I dowloaded it just to see whats up with it this time. But I wouldn't have your hopes too high either. You'll at least get to shoot stuff. :b

It looks much better than the first demo. The trees/grass/etc looks really nice. Unfortunately it's one of those "cover your AI teammate's ass" levels, which I absolutely despise.

But the engine renders buildings, hills, distant objects very well now, really gives you a feeling of mass/weight in the world. Some Deus Ex elements (implants for example) kind of round out the experience, tho that is rather tedious to me tbh.
