There were a lot of questions about this, so I sent Erik a e-mail to ask him.
 
If they can do that without problems, I cant see why they shouldnt :)

Somehow, I don't see the need. I don't know why. It's like porting CS two times...
 
Well.

CZ have some speciall features and stuff. We have to wait and see ;)
 
As far as I can see the only difference would be the inclusion of a SP campaign mode.

I hope there is more than that or else there would be very little to warrant purchasing
CZ:S, especially if you already have CS:S.
 
I think is a good way to get CZ selling.

I think the single player is good to have, nice bots thou ;)

Wow, why do people attack others for improper grammar/spelling?
He doesn't even appear to be primarily English, lighten up.
 
I hope the idea is that people who have already bought CZ will get CZ:source as a free upgrade. Valves way of saying thanks for supporting them perhaps?

I certainly hope so, cos I like the whole look and sound of CZ a lot better than plain old CS 1.6

Right, and norwegian is very different from english.

i will be happy about CS:S! i think nobody needz CZ:S.i also think that cs 1.6 is better than cz. its just "a little bit" high definition. cs source will be enough i hope,but who knows... lets take a look in a few "months" ;)

sorry 4 my bad english.
 
As I said before, its a wrong thing to do!! we dont need 5 communities!!! (CS1.6,CS:CZ,CS:S,CZ:S,CS2).
IMO, right now, Valve should only focus on completing CS:S and releasing HL2 in time!!
 
Just out of intrest ,How many people that posted so far have a copy of CZ?

It tells me you thought both CS 1.6 and CZ were crap, And you carried on playing Ricochet.

I have CZ. I have to say, it was one of the best $18 I've ever spent :) go ebay go!
 
i have CZ too :)
i play it more than CS now.. the net code is so much better.. and the graphics.. well eye candy :E

Reasons being?

CZ is worth $20, atleast.

New hostages/hostage AI.
New weapon models/skins.
New player models/skins.
New weapon sounds.
New sprites.
New maps.
Redone/restructured/higher geometry basic maps.
CZ exclusive updates (ie. grenade drops can be picked up).
Single player.
Single player (deleted scenes).
One of the best multiplayer bots available in any game.

and uhm.. there's more, but to say CZ sucks is ridiculous. If it's not your cup of tea, that's fine, but it in no way "sucks." It's far better than Vanilla CS is right now.

really? hmm.. :|
dunno.. in CS some times i feel i can unload a full clip and not kill a player while in CZ it doesn't take alot of bullets to splatter some brains :p

wouldn't that be linked to netcode? :dork:

cs: cz: source? ;)

But this is good news... cs: cz with better AI, better physics, better gfx... :)

I think its great.

CZ owners will probably get their CZ turned into source as a free upgrade, and also get the to play the beta of CS Source.

Both these metodes are great to get CZ owners more happy, and also to get more people to buy a copy of CZ.

Keep it up Valve!
