Apparently it's based on the comic hellblaze but they decided to change the title to constantine because they thought that people would confuse it with hellraiser.

And in the comic the guy was a blonde british guy with an olive jacket as opposed to keanu reeves, a black haired american with a black jacket

I just read a review of it in my local newspaper about it. They said that it was better than they had expected. It got 3 and a half stars out of four. Not too shabby. I want to go see it.

But isn't that a user rating? Hardly anything to go by, loads of people would've rated it stupid numbers like 1 and 10. Plus 6.6 is more than Matrix Revolutions got.

Are you serious? That kid's hilarious. I think it's pretty much the general concensus that the kid in Star Wars is terrible. I guess I could see some people not liking Shia LeBouf, but damn, that Star Wars kid just can not act.

I just saw the movie yesterday, and it actually was pretty high quality.
Better than I expected, at least, and it had some very clever moments.

Yeah I saw it the day it came out. I liked it, it could have been better, really cool special effects though, make sure you pay attention to everything because if you dont then the story wont make any sense. My rating is prolly a 7/10.

I'm back lol. I usually disappear over the weekends when I hang out with my friends lol.

Anyways, the movie was pretty good but nothing amazing. Definitely worth a see I would say. I give it a solid 7.5/10 or a 3/4. That's a good rating from me. Just don't expect the best movie of the year but it will definitely entertain you.

Don't worry, if you had even a little bit of intelligence you would have seen it coming half way through the movie. He should have used spoiler tags though. As for how good it is, I'd definitely get this movie for my DVD collection.

I just went to a 1:45PM showing. I came in with high hopes and left expecting more. It was decent at best. Nice visual effects and portrayal of hell. I found that the humor in the movie was unnecessary at times,

such as the bird John gave at the end.

Some parts were overwhelmingly boring. The slowing of time was cool, though the storyline could have been a little bit stronger and clearer. Many questions remained unanswered for me. I give it a C-. My biggest gripe, who the hell did the casting for Lucifer. :O
