Creepy radio

I don't know if this is an old thing or if it's an unofficial Easter egg but has anyone tried carrying the first radio through the first Emancipation grid? If you do that a radio appears in VERY SINGLE test chamber after it! For the most part they appear on top of the security cameras, but in the chamber when you get the gun it appears on top of a wall and in the 5th chamber it drops out of the cube thing with the WSC. I got a couple of screenshots that I pasted into Publisher but I'm not sure how to post them here. The whole radio thing is really creeping me out!
